It was night on Shuggazum.Everyone was off relaxing after the intense battle they had fought that day.One member of the team had almost gotten killed by a new formless and was badly hurt.

Gibson stepped softly into his room.He was hurting all over.He was the one who was nearly killed.Moving gently he layed himself on his bed.He sighed deeply as the pain spread evenly through out his circuitry.He would not allow himself to cry,though the pain was almost unbearable.

The door to his room slid open as someone stepped in panicked.Gibson looked up to see Otto rushing in. "Gibby!" he said in a shaky voice.Gibson forced himself to sit up.Once he was up he noticed the tears in Otto's eyes. "Otto?Whats wrong?" he asked confused. Without saying another thing Otto threw himself at Gibson.He began hugging him for dear life.

"I was so scared!I-i-i thought you were dead!I-i-i t-thought I lost you before..." Otto choked out through sobs.Gibson was frozen for a moment.Finally he answered."Before what Otto?" he asked softly attempting to calm the green primate.Otto calmed down a bit from the petting. "Before I could tell you..." he wispered softly.

"Tell me what?" Gibson asked.Otto looked up into Gibson's coal colored eyes. "I can't say..." he said breaking the eye contact. "Why not?" Gibson asked. "Because...you'll hate me..." Otto said looking down. Gibson made Otto look up at him. "I will not hate you Otto.Even if I may not say it...your my best friend.I could never hate you.Even if you were to blow Shuggazum up.Or kill the whole planet off.I'd never be able to make myself hate you." Gibson said wiping away the last tears from Otto's face.

Otto smiled brightly at the confession.He wrapped his arms around Gibson's neck and hugged him softly. "Your my best friend too Gibby." Otto said happily. "Now.What was it you couldn't tell me." Gibson said chuckling. Otto sigh and hugged Gibson closer. "That you mean more to me than anything...and that I...that I love you more than anything on Shuggazum. And that I hoped from now on you stay close to me... so I can make sure your safe...and that if you ever did die...I'd die of a broken heart...is all...." Otto said never looking up.He braced himself for the hit he was expecting.However it never came.

"Gibby?" Otto called looking up carefully.Gibson was smiling.Much to Otto's surprise.Sitting up more he wrapped his arms around Otto's waist and pulled him in closer to him. "And why couldn't you tell me that?" Gibson asked softly.Otto stared at him like he'd grown a second head. "Otto.Of course I'll stay by you next time.I'm glad I mean more to you than anything. Because you mean to me than anything as well.I'd die of a broken heart if you were to die as well.And...I love you more than anything in this universe or the next." Gibson confessed nuzzling the stunned primate.

Otto sat stunned for a good moment.Finally he smiled and wrapped his arms tighter around Gibson's neck. "I love you." he said blissfully. "Heh.I love you too." Gibson replied hugging him tighter.

The pair stayed like this happily.Knowing the both would be ok.With the others love,nothing could stop them.
