Reasons...

Gibson frowned as he looked over Otto's wounds. "How you managed to cut yourself so badly I'll never know." Gibson mumbled looking at Otto's hands again. "I was making something...and I fell.My tools fell on top of me." Otto mumbled avoiding the doctor's gaze. "Well.I do wish you'd be more careful!My word Otto.What could have made you lose focus?" Gibson asked confused.Otto wasn't one for paying attention.But even Gibson had to admit that Otto never lost focus when he was building something. "I'm not telling." Otto pouted.Gibson tapped his foot impatiently. "And just why not?" Gibson fumed.Otto shook lightly. "You'll laugh at me..." Otto mumbled.His voice sounded like he was gonna cry.Gibson's angry act broke instantly.One thing he couldn't stand was seeing Otto cry.

"Otto...I wouldn't do that.Not unless it was meant to be a joke.And even then I most likely wouldn't laugh." Gibson said recalling the green simian's bad jokes.Otto cracked a smirk at this. "Now tell me.Whats got you so unfocused?" Gibson asked sitting next to Otto.Said monkey sighed and looked towards Gibson. "Gibby have you ever been in love?" Otto suddenly asked.Gibson's mouth opened and closed for about 2 minutes. "...why?" was all Gibson could respond.Otto shook his head. "Ok...heres what happened...I was building this um...thing...when all of a sudden...well I heard a noise and lost focus." Otto stumbled.Gibson stared confused. "What?" Otto asked noticing his staring. "Your gonna have to fill in the blanks for me Otto." Gibson said simply.Otto sighed. "Ok.Lemme try again." he said moving so he was facing Gibson.

"About 9 months ago I was building a new rocket for the Brain Scrambler.But this um...person...walked into the room..." Otto began. "Person?" Gibson questioned. "I'm not saying thier name Gibson." Otto pouted.Gibson simply motioned for him to continue.Otto took a deep breath and nodded. "Well when they came in.I noticed something about them was different.But I brushed it off seeing as they always have something different about them.Well the months passed and I noticed I couldn't keep my eyes off of them.So I went to Nova and asked for her help." Otto said never looking up. "You went to Nova?" Gibson asked confused. "Trust me.Antauri couldn't help me with this one." Otto whispered.Gibson nodded for him to continue again.

"Ok so...I explained everything to her and she started smiling and told me I was in love!I attempted to laugh it off.I knew she couldn't be right but she was!Cause the next time I saw...um...the person...I wanted to run up and hug them.So I ran out instead.But now all these months later and they won't stay outta my thoughts!And so today I said I was gonna tell them.I said I was gonna confess...but then a image of them hating me popped into my head.It scared me so I jumpped...I fell and the tools fell ontop of me..." Otto finsihed.Gibson was staring with his mouth wide open. "Otto...your...your in love?" he stumbled shocked.Otto blushed badly and nodded. "Ok.I answered your question.Now answer mine!Have you ever been in love?" Otto asked.There was something stirring in his eyes.Gibson his head and frowned. "Once.Long ago.Then I realized I only had room for one love in my life.And that was learning." he said softly.Otto didn't say anything.He was crying. "...who?" he asked softly.Gibson looked confused. "Come again?" he asked. "Who were you in love with?Please...I wanna...I wanna know.Please Gibby....please?" Otto begged lightly.Gibson felt his heart break. "Otto please don't cry..." Gibson mumbled.The tear flowed faster.

"Please Gibby?Can I please know?" Otto asked again.Gibson sighed and stood up. "Your positive you wanna know Otto?" he asked looking back.Otto nodded quickly. "Fine....but remember.You asked for it." Gibson said walking back to his computer.Otto watched confused. "Gibson...who were you in lo-" "You." Gibson cut in.Otto's eye widened. "W-w-what?" Otto asked. "I.Was.In.Love.With.You." Gibson said slowly.Otto's eyes lit up. "R-r-really!?" he exclaimed.Gibson tilted his head confused. "Why so happy now?" he asked softly.Otto didn't respond.Instead he ran over and threw himself at Gibson. "Ack!Otto!" Gibson said as a feirce blush took over his face. "I LOVE YOU GIBBY!" Otto chimed happily, "I was so afraid to tell you!But thats it!I'm in love with you!Soooooo much!" he confessed as tears rolled down his face.

Gibson was awestruck.Otto loved him?But he had stopped loving Otto years ago!Hadn't he? "Otto...I...I don't know what to say..." Gibson mumbled. "Say you still love me.Or at least that your willing to try!Please Gibby!" Otto mumbled hugging Gibson tighter.Gibson shook his head. "You...you really did stop loving me...didn't you?" Otto asked pulling back so he could see Gibby's face.Gibson smiled lightly.Before Otto could start crying again,Gibson pressed he nose to Otto's and nuzzled him lightly. "You can never really stop loving the one your ment for...can you Otto?" Gibson asked softly.Otto shook his head and nuzzled Gibson back.He blushed when he felt Gibson's lips on his.Moaning lightly he pressed back.

The new lover embraced for the first time.As they held parted from the amazing kiss they still held one another close. "I love you Gibby..." Otto mumbled blissfully. "I love you too Otto..." Gibson mumbled. back.Otto buried himself in Gibson's neck.Gibson smiled and stroked his back.One thought came to his mind.
