Natural Side

The afternoon was rather quiet.Most of the hyperforce had left to go get ice cream on the warm spring day.However two of the team members stayed behind.

"Chiro what is this?" Antauri asked looking at the table set up in his meditating room. "Just go sit down..." Chiro said grinning.Antauri glanced at him once more before he did as he was told.Chiro smiled and walked towards the door. "I'll be right back.No leaving ok?" he said as he walked out.Antauri nodded and looked around.Chiro had decorated the room.Smaller crystals hung from the ceilings on strings.There was a potted plant standing in the corner.And relaxing music played slowly from a hidden radio.Sighing Antauri sat back in his chair and waited.He had a feeling he was gonna like this surprise.

Moments later the door to his room reopened.Antauri looked up and was stunned at what he saw.Standing in the door way was Chiro.Only he had changed clothes.He was now wearing a orange and white kimono.He held a tray in his hand and one it was a tea kettle and two cups.Chiro was blushing lightly as he made his way to the table. "Antauri-san...I hope you like caramel..." Chiro said sitting the tray on the table. "Its a new flavor I got yesterday." he mumbled.Antauri stared at him,the shock still present on his features. "Chiro...?" Antauri asked softly. "Hmm?" Chiro answered pouring the tea carefully. "When did you...where did...how...?Whats going on?" Antauri asked confused. "This is the surprise." was all Chiro answered.

Antauri was still confused and it showed on his face. "I wanted to do something special for you.This was the best I could come up with.I wanted to appeal to your...natural side." Chiro explained sitting across from the silver monkey. "My natural side?Is that so?" Antauri asked a bit amused. "Well...yeah.You like relaxing and being away from everyone else...and you like tea and soft music...so ya know.I thought I'd use that." Chiro said shrugging like it was nothing.Even though the blush on his face got deeper.Antauri chuckled lightly. "What is it you want exactly Chiro?" Antauri asked looking towards the teenaged boy.Chiro looked up confused. "Huh?What do you mean?" he asked. "You wish to ask me for something.And don't try to lie." Antauri answered simply.

Chiro's blush deepend."Ok...maybe I do want to ask you something..." Chiro mumbled. "And that would be?" Antauri asked softly. "You'll get mad." Chiro responded even softer.Antauri shook his head. "I will not get upset Chiro.You have my word." Antauri said firmly.Chiro stared at him for a moment before looking down towards the floor. "...I don't...I don't know..." Chiro whispered. "If its that hard you need not tell me." Antauri said simply.Chiro looked up at him.His big blue eyes were asking Antauri something.

"Chiro...?" Antauri mumbled as he stared into the big blue pools. "Willyoupleasegooutwithmefriday?" Chiro said quickly.Antauri shook his head. "I'm sorry.I didn't catch that.Come again?" he said.Chiro took a deep breath and tried again. "Will you please go out with me Friday?" Chiro repeated slower.Antauri stared. "Antauri....please don't be mad..."Chiro said when the mentor didn't answer.

"Of course." Antauri said after Chiro's voice snapped his trance. "Of course?You...you mean you'll go?" Chiro said,his mood lighting greatly. "Correct.You asked me to go out with you this Friday didn't you?I would be happy to go out with you Chiro-kun." Antauri said smiling lightly.Chiro grinned from ear to ear. "Since when do you call me Chiro-kun?" he asked grinning.Antauri looked up and returned the grin.

"I'm not sure...I suppose its apart of my natural side."
